Roll Call for Bailout Vote - How Did Your Rep Vote?

With all the news on the bailout and the unprecedented outcry of Americans across the land to their elected officials against the bailout, we still see in the vote this morning that 205 members of the House of Representatives SUPPORTED the bill. Unbelievable! I'm sure they think they know better than you and I when it comes to spending $700 billion of OUR MONEY!

Would you like to know how your Representative voted? Here's a link to the roll call for the vote:

http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll674.xml

Now here's the kicker: EVERY MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES is up for reelection this November 4th. So here's our chance to do a little house cleaning, America.

Check out the link above to see if your Rep supported the bailout. If they did, be sure to make it to the polls this November 4th to vote against them. If they voted against the bailout, be sure to make it to the polls to vote for them as those who voted against this bill should be hailed as heros in our nation!

It's time for Americans to take back their government... let's get started with the House of Representatives!

Yeah, well Bush did even worse. And it's his administration that proposed this bailout. And McCain showed real leadership too. He's weeks away from the election and his party doesn't back him up.

You folks won't be laughing if the crisis gets worse. It won't just be the fat cats on Wall St. who suffer if the economy tanks. We're not talking about what's happening on another planet here. If things don't get fixed the businesses you work for will suffer and so will you.

You are a bunch of idiots!!!!!!!!!!We need to set a minimum for the financial losses so the market can not worry how low things will get, which will allow it to rebound. Our leaders should know more than we. Just look at what levle our nightly news gears its stories: 6 grade or less. If the dumb masses ruled over 200 years ago, there would not have been a revolution. I cannot beleive how dumb the american public is!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a matter of principle for me. I don't care how bad things get in the economy we can't have a bailout.

If the Russians bombed New York City we'd have to nuke them, on principle, even though it would guarantee the end of the world.

Same here, on principle, even if it means the complete ruin of the financial system, we can't bail these bastards out.

Well, blah, you remind me of the story of the monkey and the scorpion. They both want to cross the river and the scorpion asks for a ride. The monkey says "No because you'll sting me and I'll drown."The scorpion says "No I won't, because I'll drown too." So the monkey agrees. Halfway across, the scorpion stings the monkey. The monkey exclaims "Why'd you do that!?" The scorpion replies "That's just the way scorpions are."

It's stupid to let the plane you're on crash just because you are pissed off at the passengers in first class.
